Part 2
---------------------------------------------------

Makoto started to feel alert by the man's kindness. He remembered his older sister's words that he had to be careful in the big city. Not everyone's kindness was pure like in the rural area. And since he's too cute, he could be a target of kidnapping and human trafficking, she said. Recalling this, the hair on the back of his neck stood up.

But he really needed to find the exit. So, for a mean time, he'd tag along, and then find himself to go separated way after reaching the exit. If something's went wrong, then he'd just have to fight his way out or die trying.

"What's the matter? You seem so tense," the man asked, rubbing the boy's shoulder.

Makoto winched, he didn't used to be touched like that by someone who wasn't his relatives. He slid himself away from the man's embrace and grinned sheepishly.

"Uh, I-I'm sorry..." he hung his words, couldn't find the perfect sentence to explain.

The man smiled and patted his head gently, but seeing the boy winched again, he took back his hand.

"No, my apologize," he said, "I shouldn't touch you so casually since we just met."

Makoto just bowed apologetically and kept his distance a little from the man.

When they reached the west exit, the boy bowed once again as his gratitude and excused himself.

"Wait," the man called, "My chauffer will come to pick me up in a minute. I can ride you to your brother's apartment if you wanted to."

The boy shook his head, "There's no need. Thank you for your kindness, I'm fine from here. I-I'll just take a cab there. Once again, thank you."

He bowed once more and ran himself away from the man who called him and asked for his name. But Makoto didn't hear it and jumped right away to the first taxi he saw.

He sighed in relived and gave Kyou's address to the taxi driver. As the taxi drove away, he glanced back and saw a black Mercedes pull over near the man. The chauffer walked out of the car and opened the passenger door and let the man enter. Before he entered, he glanced at the taxi Makoto was riding and their eyes met. The boy quickly turned his head to avoid the inevitable eye contact.

As the taxi ran further from the station, he slapped his head in realization. That man was an attorney, wasn't he? So he couldn't be possibly kidnapping him, right? He acted like an idiot by overreacting and being embarrassed by it. Rumpling his hair, he blamed his older sister secretly for making him paranoid.

On the first day he arrived on his older brother's apartment, he could sense that something was different with him. He was still as nice as he used to be, but he seemed sad, and happy, and confused. He seemed... falling in love.

Kyou said he had a fight with his lover and broke up.

Jealousy was built up inside Makoto's stomach. He loved his brother too much, but he realized that it was impossible for the two of them. They're both male, and related by blood. He jested by trying to kiss Kyou, and directly rejected.

He was almost crying, but somewhat managed to cover it up as a joke.

That night, while his brother was asleep, he kissed him.

"I'm sorry Kyou-chan. I love you..." he whispered.

Though Makoto was jealous over his brother's lover, but he didn't want to see him sad. So he urged him to make up with his lover. And to his surprise, Kyou's lover appeared on their doorstep and was a male!

Once again, if it was for his brother's happiness; it didn't matter whether Kyou had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, as long as he's happy, he'd be happy too.

Excusing himself to buy oolong tea at the convenient store nearby, he went away to let those two lovebirds making up and by the time he came back to pick it up, they're really 'making up' in the broad daylight. Didn't know where else to go, so he guarded the front door and shooing everybody who stopped at the door by the 'curious' sound from inside.

Several days later, Kyou moved in to his lover's luxurious mansion and left his old apartment to Makoto who couldn't get another convenient yet cheap apartment like this.

Somehow, somewhere along the way, between the first day after Makoto arrived at Tokyo and before Kyou moved from the old apartment, Makoto got a job in a law firm.

He didn't want to go to college since he didn't have the brain like his older sister or skill like his big brother. So he decided to work right after graduating from high school. His parents were worried about his future, since a high school grad can only worked as a part timer or some other labor job.

To his luck, Himekawa, one of Kyou's friends from college [different major], said that the law firm he was having internship on needed an errand boy, and said that Makoto was the perfect candidate for it. He said; a good looking pretty boy such as Makoto would be an eye candy for the gloomy law firm.

So, he took the boy to the law firm and introduced him to the personnel manager, and he got the job on the spot.
